Module Registration Exercise for Summer Term, 2022/23

This serves to communicate with you about the procedure of module registration for Summer Term, 2022/23. The Summer Term will run for 7 teaching weeks from 12 June to 29 July 2023 with the End-of-Module examinations to be held from 1 to 5 August 2023. The list of modules to be offered in this summer term is available on the Module Planner. Some modules may adopt intensive mode in summer term (more than 2 lessons in each teaching week), you are highly recommended to read the list of modules very carefully and refer to the lesson schedule provided by the module teacher for details.
Generally, students can take 3 credits for free in summer term. If students wish to apply for taking extra credits (number of credits taken exceeds 3 credits) in Summer Term, 2022/23, please complete and submit the e-Application for Taking Extra Credits (with Additional Fee) (UG) via eCampus (MyHSUHK > Form > Taking Extra Credit).
The Registry will accept application from now on until 12:00 noon, 15 June 2023. You will be informed of the application result via e-mail. Please note that additional tuition fee will be incurred for the extra credits (excluding credits related to field experience, internship and company project). The debit note will be issued to you after the Module Add/drop Period. You may refer to the Appendix II: Fees Schedules in the Academic Regulations for Undergraduate Programmes for details.

Phase 1 Mock Module Registration
The mock module registration will be held on Thursday, 13 April 2023 allowing you to login to the Module Registration System and test if your own equipment is working well with the system and can register modules successfully.

Kindly please note that all modules registered in the mock will be REMOVED thereafter. The system will be reset for the main round of module registration to be taken place on 20-21 April 2023. Any successful module registration in the mock does not denote you will successfully register or have priority to register the same modules in the Module Registration Period.
Phase 2 Main Round of Module Registration
The main round of module registration for Summer Term, 2022/23 will last for two days. Students can login to the Module Registration System to register modules between 20 and 21 April 2023 (user guide can be found here). The login start time and module registration timeslot are quite different from those in normal semesters, please read the below timeline carefully for details:

Phase 3 Clearance Round of Module Registration
Students can make the final adjustment on their timetable just before the commencement of summer term during Module Registration Clearance Round. You can login to the Module Registration System again accordingly to alter your choice of modules.
