This serves to inform you the arrangement of taking extra modules in Summer Term, 2021/22.

If students wish to apply for taking extra modules (number of credits taken exceeds 3) in Summer Term, 2021/22, please complete and submit the e-Application for Taking Extra Credits (with Additional Fee) (UG) via eCampus (MyHSUHK > Form > Taking Extra Credit). You are advised to read the Notes to Applicants carefully before you submit the application form.

We will accept your application from now on until 12:00nn,10 June 2022. You will be informed of the application result via e-mail. Please note that additional tuition fee will be incurred for the extra module (excluding modules related to field experience, internship and company project). You will receive the debit note in due course. 

According to the Academic Regulations for Undergraduate Programmes, a student who completes a study programme in a time frame shorter than the normative study period, is still required to pay full tuition fees due for the whole normative study period (i.e. total tuition fees due for 4 years in 8 instalments for Year 1 entrants/ total tuition fees due for 3 years in 6 instalments for Year 2 entrants/ total tuition fees due for 2 years in 4 instalments for Year 3 entrants). Students should mind that they would not be able to receive government subsidies, e.g. NMTSS or SSSDP, if they complete a study programme within a time frame shorter than the normative study period as the subsidy is disbursed according to the actual study period and capped by the normal duration of study.
