[IMPORTANT] Module Add/Drop Period for Summer Term, 2020/21

To: UG Students

  1. The Module Add/Drop period for Summer Term, 2020/21 will take place on 7-11 June 2021 during which students can add or drop modules through the Module Add/Drop System. Attached please find the user guide for module add/drop for your reference.
  1. Students can login to the Module Add/Drop System during 7-11 June 2021 from 09:00 to 15:00 to submit module add/drop request.
  1. The order of add/drop priority is as follows:

Submission Date > Seniority (Year of Study) > Submission Time

  1. You will be notified of the result around 16:00 daily by email. If your add/drop request cannot be fulfilled on the first day, your application will be kept in the system for further matching and processing on the subsequent days. You must cancel your add/drop application(s) if you NO LONGER want it to be processed. Otherwise, there will be chances that your “add” request is being matched in the last minute and you have no time to drop it.
  1. Students shall be solely responsible for their own timetables and are recommended to consult their Programme Offices if in doubt before submitting the add or drop applications. Please be reminded of the possible consequences, i.e. deferment of study/graduation, of inappropriate adding or dropping modules.
  1. NO adding or dropping of module will be allowed after the Add/Drop period. In this connection, students should be very careful when submitting the add/drop applications and daily checking of result status on the Module Add/Drop System by the students are also important.
  1. You are strongly advised to first consult your Programme Office should you have any questions regarding your timetable and study plan to avoid unnecessary referrals. For enquiry with Registry, please state your questions clearly (and preferably with supporting documents) in emails. Meanwhile, you may find your answer in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Module Registration and Module Add/Drop of the Registry website.

Thank you for your attention.
