Cancellation of the Rescheduled Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2019 on Thursday, 6 February 2020

In view of an increase in the number of confirmed and suspected Novel Coronavirus infection cases and the increasing risk of the spread of the virus in crowded environment, with deepest regret the University has decided to CANCEL the Rescheduled Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2019 to be held on Thursday, 6 February 2020. The University would consider all possible options should the situation improve and will communicate with you in due course.

Nonetheless, kindly please note that the following measures, following the deferment of the Graduation Ceremony in December 2019, will continue:

Collection of Graduation Certificate
Your graduation certificate is ready for collection at the Registry Office during opening hours (Registry counter service suspended during 29 Jan-3 Feb 2020). You may collect it in person or authorise a representative to collect it by presenting a duly signed authorisation form (REG Form 19a / REG Form 19b), original/copy of their HKID and the HKID of the authorised representative. However, please note that if you still have unfulfilled University graduation requirements or outstanding fees/payment with the University, your graduation certificate will be withheld.

Collection of Awards and Co-curricular Achievements Transcript (ACT)
Your ACT will be ready for collection at the Student Affairs Office during opening hours. Please click here for the collection details.

University Gmail Account
Your University Gmail account will continue to be valid until 31 August 2020 to facilitate our communication via email.

Graduation Decorations
The University will keep some graduation decorations until 23 February 2020 and you are welcome to take photos with your parents and friends.
